Co-owners and chief brand strategists at Kudzu Brands, Murphy Funkhouser Capps and Heather Johnson, are excited to have been chosen for the Mountain BizWorks’ WNC ScaleUp 2019 program-Spring Cohort! Every other Friday, for 14 weeks, they will attend a full-day workshop alongside other high potential businesses in WNC to learn critical skills for scaling and taking Kudzu Brands to the next level. They will also participate in one-on-one mentoring as well as a showcase event at the end of the program.

The purpose of ScaleUp WNC is to provide an educational intensive to 15 small businesses with high potential for growth. Scaleup was created with the intention to continue bolstering innovation and economic development across WNC.
ScaleUp WNC is provided by Mountain BizWorks, which offers loans to small businesses across the region who may find it difficult to procure loans otherwise. By giving them the resources they need, they can thrive and contribute to the growth of the community.
