The Big Idea
Southern Concrete Materials (SCM) has been supplying ready mixed concrete, precast concrete products, construction products and tools, and masonry block products to the Western North Carolina region since 1958. Through superior service and products, they have grown to multiple divisions served by more than 27 plants. They came to Kudzu to elevate their brand aesthetic and messaging so that it would reflect their growth and demonstrate relevancy in our constantly evolving digital world. SCM also sought to drive traffic to their website and cultivate new sales leads to gain new customers while retaining returning customers.
The Strategy
We continue to support SCM with ongoing brand management, helping them define and focus on providing customers with a better understanding of what they offer and who they are. Kudzu utilized digital marketing platforms to inform and engage customers on SCM’s suite of services. We also recommended that they recruit and retain employees who act as ambassadors for their future employees and customers. We helped them develop better prospecting tools to engage and recruit leads, prospects, and future clients.
The Impact
SCM received an uplifted brand while maintaining the qualities of their original look. We provided them with a brand new website that is one of the most modern and professional currently in the state. SCM continues to invest in professional photography, allowing them to showcase their locations and extensive projects. They also have a coherent and consistent social media presence.
