The Big Idea

Union Transfer & Storage is a full-service moving and storage business that values quality and trust. They understand that moving and storing are highly personal, so they guarantee integrity with the delivery and care of their clients’ belongings. After ownership of the company was transferred from his father, Wayne Campbell, Robie Campbell hired Kudzu to help create a brand identity that would establish them as an entity separate from their national moving van partners.

The Strategy

To establish a new brand for Union Transfer, Kudzu developed a fresh logo and aesthetic that elevates their market position and reflects the organization’s business lines and Blue Ridge Mountain origins. A brand story was also created to establish comprehensive messaging, identify unique current and future audiences, and clearly communicate the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Finally, Kudzu designed a beautiful, fully customized website and supported both internal and external brand launches.

UTS’s rebranding emphasizes their unique position in the Asheville market and beyond by highlighting their full suite of services, including Residential and Commercial Moving, Interior Design Concierge, Warehouse Storage, and Special Projects. These services were included in their trucks’ new wrap design, as well as a feature on their website’s video case studies.
