Marmon IEI came to Kudzu with a complex request. The newly formed Marmon IEI, a division of Marmon Electrical, was a consolidation of six independent businesses that had recently combined and needed support with a unified brand voice and website. The site would need to serve their various target audiences while presenting the new brand and establishing its presence in the market. The challenge: complete a large website combining multiple products, brand identities, and corresponding market information in 4 months for a go-live date of January 1, 2023.
The team at Kudzu became an extension of our in-house marketing team for the year leading up to our rebrand. Unifying six entities under one umbrella is a monumental task that involves managing various moving parts. I can’t explain the relief and excitement of watching our website go beyond what we envisioned for our newly formed business unit under Marmon Electrical, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. Kudzu understood our direction and goals, strongly supported our brand guidelines and messaging, and through their technical aptitude and creative approach, have enhanced the buying journey for our customers.

Marmon IEI’s complex website and tight time frame required a massive team effort. The website had to present a wide variety of information for different users, ensuring they could easily find what they needed. This involved custom programming, thoughtful designs, and creative troubleshooting. Ultimately, the deadline was met, and the client launched their site, attracting media attention.
