The Big Idea

Platt Architecture, now just Platt, consists of Al Platt and his son Parker, who have years of experience designing primarily luxury homes. Not only do they build homes, but even more importantly, they cultivate relationships. They strive to build homes that marry insight and art, create experiences and develop a symbiosis between interior and design. They were ready to take their brand to the next level with a refreshed look, an expanded suite of services and a clarified market position. They wished for refreshed brand messaging that positioned them as a “collective” of lifestyle brands as well as full service “placemakers”.

The Strategy

Kudzu helped shift Platt Architecture to simply, Platt. This helped to position them as a brand, not just a firm. Who they are was defined by well-crafted micro-stories and the highest caliber photography. Their brand now establishes a strong sense of place that deviates from the industry’s typical photos of buildings and blueprints. Videography of these micro-stories as well as a series overviewing the “Platt Process” confirmed the brand’s position as a premier architecture firm.

The Impact

The impact of the work Kudzu Brands performed has allowed Platt to present a more unified and upscale brand image that encompasses all facets of their business including their Construction and Real Estate branches. Overall, we were able to succinctly provide Platt a comprehensive brand image, brand story and supporting content to help them stand out from their competition.
